When you have a computer problem, one of the worst things you can do is just jump in and try random fixes. Chances are you’re going to do more harm than good.

A simple troubleshooting strategy will help you narrow down the problem and find help on-line to fix your computer quickly and safely.

As my home network has as many computers as a small company, and I tend to be the resident geek in most of my jobs, I’ve had the opportunity to troubleshoot and fix a great many computer problems.
