Recent studies suggest that the fatty acids in omega 3 may also play a huge role in lowering the amount of cytokines in the body.

Cytokines are elements that cause inflammation. By lowering this component, it is also possible to reduce depression, something students commonly feel.

Psychological stress has consistently been proven to escalate synthesis of cytokines thus leading scientists and researchers to question whether or not increasing it may mitigate the process.

Besides depression, intake of omega 3 also results to reduction of symptoms from anxiety disorders like OCD when combined with prescription drugs.


Weight loss is another benefit of omega 3 consumption.

Though not all students want or need to lose weight, those who wish to maintain a healthy weight should consume fish oil through diet supplements.

Omega 3 is said to improve the amount of calories the body burns.

It also has a positive impact on the metabolic process and enables more calories to be expelled for energy rather than merely stored in the body.

Programmers, accountants, and other students who do not regularly engage in physical activities should include omega 3 in their diet to avoid an overweight or obese figure.

Skin Health

Students are frequently exposed to the damaging UV rays of the sun.

Furthermore, free radicals tend to accumulate inside the body. This can lead to the destruction of your skin’s health.

Acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and other skin conditions may emerge. Omega 3 helps eliminate signs and symptoms of these diseases.

Omega 3 can be consumed in capsule form from fish oil supplements or consumed through foods like enriched eggs, soybean, pumpkin seeds, and walnut oil.
